Our People / Travis Manfredi
Travis focuses his practice on assisting clients with their intellectual property portfolios. His experience in trademark prosecution, trademark licensing, and litigation provides him a strong platform from which to advise clients on the adoption and protection of strong marks. Travis also has experience in advising clients on print and electronic advertising, including social media advertising.
Prior to joining Cobalt, Travis practiced in the area of litigation and has significant experience litigating and managing complex adverse proceedings. He brings a wealth of experience to the area of adverse proceedings, both at the state and federal level, and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Travis is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the Ninth Circuit.
During law school, Travis served as Professor J. Thomas McCarthy’s research assistant for the treatise, McCarthy on Trademarks and Unfair Competition, and was Managing Editor of the USF Law Review.
Travis has a passion for comic books and graphic novels, LEGO®, sci-fi, and other self-described “nerdy” pursuits. He spends his free time working his way through Bay Area restaurants.
